Personas
A persona is a saved setup of the assistant: a prompt, sampling values, tool switches and starter prompts. Settings → Personas lists them. A persona has no model of its own: a chat with one persona runs on the model you selected last, a group conversation runs every persona on the model of its recipe.

Use a persona#
The welcome screen of a new chat shows persona cards and recipe cards, recently used ones first. A persona card starts a chat with its settings on the model you used last. Its starter prompts appear under the composer.
Chat → Save Setup as Persona… turns the settings of the open chat into a new persona.
A persona can also be a member of a group conversation. The conversation keeps a copy of the persona as it was when it joined.
Starter personas#
The first setup gives you four personas: General Assistant, Senior Code Architect, Socratic Educator and Ultra-Concise Advisor. The wizard offers five more (Moderator, Devil's Advocate, Research Analyst, Product Strategist, Creative Writer). Edit or delete them as you like.
